(June 15, China Post) At least four people were injured when an earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale jolted northern Taiwan.
The quake struck at 10:35AM and lasted for 20 seconds. Its epicenter was 19.6 km east of Nanao.
It was a relatively shallow one, only 10.4 km deep.
Taiwan is located on a seismically active stretch of the Pacific Rim. Seismic activity occurs on a regular basis.

【中国邮报六月十五日报导】台湾北部发生震度达芮氏规模六点二级的地震，至少已经有四个人受伤。
地震发生在早上十点三十五分，而且持续摇晃了二十秒。这次地震的震央是在南澳东方十九点六公里处。
这次地震的震源相当浅，深度只有十点四公里。
台湾位于太平洋沿岸地区地震活跃带上，因此常常会发生地震。
