王子复仇记13—狼与狐狸-2

The next day, as they were playing in the field, the greedy wolf cried out, "Red Fox, if you don't find me something to eat, I will eat you up."

"Oh, I know a farmhouse. The wife likes to make pancakes. Shall I get you some?" he said.

So they went together, and the fox went into the house quietly and sniffed about for some time. At last he found the pancakes in the kitchen. Then he brought six of them to the wolf.

"Now you have something to eat," said the fox. He then went away to find his own dinner.

The wolf, however, swallowed the pancakes in a second, and said to himself, "These pancakes taste so good. I must have some more."

So he went into the farm's kitchen. While he was taking the pancakes, he upset the dish and it broke into pieces.

The farmer's wife heard the crash, and came running into the kitchen. When she saw the wolf, she called loudly for the farm servants.

They came rushing in and began to beat him. He limped back to the fox in the woods. "You played a dirty trick," he said. "The farmer nearly caught me. I was given a thrashing."

"Well, then," replied the fox, "you should not be so greedy."

狐狸说：『哦，我知道有一个农舍。那位太太很喜欢烤薄煎饼。要我去拿一些来给你吗？』

于是他们便一起到农舍去，狐狸悄悄地进入屋内，到处嗅了一下。最后他在厨房里找到薄煎饼。然后他就带了六张饼回去给狼吃。

狐狸说：『现在你有东西吃了。』然后就跑去为自己找晚餐。

然而，狼一下子就吞下了那些饼，他对自己说：『这些饼这幺好吃，我一定要再吃一些。』

于是他就跑到农舍的厨房去。在拿饼的时候，他打翻了盘子，盘子破成碎片。

农夫的太太听到破碎声，就跑进厨房。当她看到狼时，便大声喊叫仆人前来。

他们冲进来开始揍这匹狼。狼跛着脚回到树林里找狐狸。他说：『你耍我。农夫差点捉到我，我还被痛打了一顿。』

狐狸回答说：『嗯，你不应该这幺贪心。』
