Over the course of a year, Carla Moore lost 100 pounds at lunchtime. Her secret? The efficient office manager simply took a long walk every day instead of eating a big meal. Not that she didn’t eat, but a couple of rice cakes and a cup of yogurt filled her up. “Exercise cuts back on my appetite,” Moore says. “Or maybe I felt so good about myself that I didn’t feel like pigging out.”
