Sometimes we eat too much not because we’re hungry but because we’re sleepy. We unconsciously think that eating will wake us up. Next time you’re thinking of eating when you know you shouldn’t, ask yourself if you’re really sleepy. If you are, and if you can, take a nap.

有的时候我们吃得太多不是因为肚子饿,而是因为想睡觉。我们常不知不觉地认为吃东西可以提神。下次你想吃东西而你又知道自己不该吃时,问问自己是否“真的”困了。如果是而且状况许可的话,你不妨小睡片刻。
