旅游时携带有利节食的食物。
You’re on the road when your stomach tells you it’s time to eat. That’s when you discover that your choices are limited to cheeseburgers, fried chicken or ice cream, the food available along many highways. Yes, it sounds tempting, but you still have to fit behind that steering wheel later.
Don’t count on finding the foods you need while traveling. Fresh fruits, sandwiches, even salad fixings, travel well in a cooler. You may still decide to stop at a fast-food joint on a long trip, but stop at a grocery for low-cal snacks, too.
Taking carry-on food on an airline flight isn’t a bad idea, either. Supplement your munchkin-size serving of microwaved chicken or beef with raw vegetables or fresh fruit and you’ll feel like you ate a real meal.

你正在路上,而你的肚子告诉你该是用餐的时候了,这时你却发现你能选择食物只有起司汉堡、炸鸡或冰淇淋,也就是许多高速公路沿线所卖的那些东西。没错,这些食物听起来挺诱人的,但餐后你得费力塞进驾驶座了。
别指望旅游时能找到你需要的食物。新鲜水果、三明治,甚至沙拉配料都很适合在旅游时放在车上的冷冻箱里。长途旅程中,你也许仍会决定在路旁的快餐站停车用餐;但也要在路旁杂货店停车选购低卡的点心。
随身携带食物上飞机也不失为一个好主意。吃完自己携带的生菜或新鲜水果再加上(机上提供的)份量很少的一人份微波鸡肉或牛肉后,你会感觉自己好象已吃了真正的一餐。
