In America, pubs are usually called "bars."
B: How are you tonight, sir?
P: Oh, not too bad. I'm just glad the weekend's finally here.
B: I know what you mean. What can I get for you?
P: Give me a screwdriver on the rocks.
B: One screwdriver, coming right up. (He mixes the drink.) Here you are, sir.
P: Thanks.
