　　Many people say they would like to own their own business, but I'm not one of them. The reason I'm not keen on establishing my own company is that it would take an awful lot of physical and mental work. While employees often have pressure and tight deadlines, this type of stress is nothing compared to what owners face. They have much bigger and more frequent problems to worry about than the typical worker does.

　　There's also another fundamental reason why I would prefer not to start my own company. In short, I'm not a big risk-taker. It's well known that most small businesses fail. Realizing that, I am quite reluctant to take a gamble with my money by opening up a company. To me, having a steady paycheck is the best and safest way to earn a stable income. All in all, being an employee is far less stressful and risky than being a business owner.

　　有很多人说他们想拥有自己的事业，但我却不是其中之一。我不热衷成立自己公司的原因就是，它将会耗费我许多体力及脑力。虽然员工往往都有压力且工作时间紧迫，但这种压力和老板所面对的比起来根本就不算什么。老板所要担心的问题比一般员工所要担心的，往往层面会更大也频繁得多。

　　我不愿自己开公司还有另一个基本原因。简言之，我不太敢冒险。大多数小型企业倒闭是众所皆知的。自知这一点，我很不愿意冒险将我的钱拿来开一间公司。对我来说，有一份稳定薪水才是赚取稳定收入最好也最安全的方法。总而言之，当个员工远比当公司老板来得压力小也较没风险。

　　I think it would be great to start my own business someday. One of the biggest reasons I want to open my own company is that I can be my own boss. This means that I can decide when I go to work and how many hours I will work each day. It also means I won't have as much stress because bosses often put a lot of pressure on their employees.

　　There's an even bigger reason why I would like to own my own business than just choosing my working hours and having less stress, though. As an owner of a company, I can make a lot more money than an employee can. While employees make fixed salaries, owners are more likely to make many times more than that. As a result, I could have a much nicer lifestyle if I owned a company. For all these reasons, I would really like to start my own business one day.

　　我认为有一天能开创自己的事业会很棒。我想开一家自己公司的其中一个最重要的理由就是，我可以当自己的老板。这代表我可以决定何时去上班以及每天我会工作多久。这也意味着我不会有这么大的压力，因为老板常常会把压力加诸在员工身上。

　　我想拥有自己的事业还有个更大的理由，而不只是选择自己上班的时间和比较没压力。作为公司老板，我可以赚得比员工还多更多。虽然员工的薪水很固定，但老板赚的钱可能是他们的好几倍。因此，我如果拥有一间公司，我就可以拥有更好的生活方式。基于这些理由，我真的想要有一天能开创自己的事业。
